When we want to try a new wine, one of the easiest things we can do is check the rating on our phones. While ratings are not a surefire way to tell if a wine is good, they definitely help when we’re picking out our next bottle. 

Highly regarded wine critics tend to give 90 points or more to wines that are considered to be truly good. Top critics for wine lovers include The Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Jeb Dunnuck, Tim Atkin, Vinous, Burghound and more. 

The release of such ratings can have a huge impact on prices- collectors snap up the best-rated wines as soon as they are published, driving up the price of the wine. Here are some excellent wines we recommend for everyday drinking that won't break the bank:
