Among the highest peaks in the region is Renato Corino's family's celebrated Barolo Estate in Italy. Together with his son Stefano, the next star in the Barolo scene, Renato is incredibly passionate about producing his famed elegant wines.
Along with a cutting-edge winery, Renato's vines cover eight hectares in the highly prized La Morra Crus of Rocche dell'Annunziata, Arborina, Pozzo, with a significant proportion of Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto.
Renato not only believes in organic farming, he is also a perfectionist and does not rely on chemicals, herbicides or even fertiliser. By limiting yield and steadfastly trusting his parcels, he achieves a higher level of quality and structure in his wines.
The Barolos of Renato are noted for their weightlessness and utter elegance. Try out his other wines in his portfolio- they are extracted to perfection, full of finesse, and perfectly balanced between their acidity, tannin, and lovely fruit.

TASTING NOTES
|
Dolcetto d'Alba 2019
"Full of bright cherry fruit, floral hints, and delicate tannins, this fresh Dolcetto is intended to be drunk within the first few years of release." - Winemaker's Notes
|
Nebbiolo Langhe 2019
"Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. A mixture of fragrant rose petal, red cherry and ripe red currant aromas emanate from the glass followed by earth, light tobacco and spicy dried herb notes. Light to medium weight the palate is decorated with delicious red currant and red cherry fruits which are underscored by earth, light tobacco and spicy dried herbs. There’s plenty of freshness and some light grip from the classically stern Nebbiolo tannins which give it a rustic feel." - Winemaker's Notes
|
Barolo Comune di La Morra 2016
"The Renato Corino 2016 Barolo del Comune di La Morra highlights are silky tannins, loose textural fiber and pretty berry accents. Once you break it all down, this wine delivers on a promise of varietal purity and accessibility. Raspberry and wild cherry is followed by dried mint and basil. An ample 10,000 bottles were made." - Winemaker's Notes.
