Set on the Right Bank of the Dordogne River in Bordeaux, France, Clos Les Lunelles is acquired by the Perse family, who already have the famous Chateau Pavie and Chateau Monbousquet under their belts. In 2010, the winery changed their name to Clos Lunelles.

From crop-thinning, hand-harvesting and table-sorting, Clos Lunelles is one of the most labor-intensive wines to produce in the entire appellation.

Crafted with passion and a touch of magic, Clos Lunelles exemplifies Côtes de Castillon's unique characteristics. The red wine casts a spell on your senses, with its deep, ruby hues and alluring aromas of spices and a touch of earthiness to entice you from the very first whiff. An elegant blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine lures you in with velvety tannins, harmonious acidity, and a lingering finish.

"Deep purp-black in color, the 2016 Clos les Lunelles bursts from the glass with flamboyant black cherries preserves, black raspberries, kirsch and crème de cassis notes with touches of violets, licorice and Chinese five spice. Full, rich, concentrated and decadently fruited in the mouth, it fills the palate with exotic spice accents and a firm yet velvety frame, finishing very long and hedonic."
