Champagne Devaux has recently launched a series commemorating its rich history. Aptly named "Hommage”, each of the wines is uniquely crafted and each label is designed to have a rustic look from another era.
The Champagne house Devaux is located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, which accounts for a quarter of all Champagne production. Pinot Noir, one of the key grape varieties in Champagne, thrives on the exceptional soils and unique exposure.

Devaux Hommage Augusta Brut
Named after Augusta-Maria Herbin, the wife of Françoise-Auguste Devaux, who successfully ran the winery for 16 years after his death. A fresh scent of lemons and green apples, enriched with a sweet note of yellow plums and apricots. Pleasantly light, creamy on the palate, leaving a delicate yeasty aftertaste of brioche.
Devaux Hommage Oeil de Perdrix Rosé
A rosé to pay tribute to the women who run the Devaux house. A bouquet of citrus fruits and red and white fruits, dominated by a raspberry aroma and spiced up with anise and nutmeg. The palate is balanced between freshness and power, between finesse and fullness. Devaux Hommage Blanc de Blancs
Crisply textured while richly fruity wine. There is minerality and ripeness with touches of tropical fruits and a rounded, generous aftertaste.
Devaux Hommage Blanc de Noirs
Rich, packed with red and citrus fruits and with a taut, nervy texture. Lightly structured and delicious, ages well to bring out fullness.

Devaux Hommage Augusta Brut
"From the same producer who makes Majestic's Oeil de Perdrix rosé Champagne, this is lovely and light, with tangy lemon rind and green apple flavours. It has a creamy, briochey mid-palate but isn't as rich as many - although fresh and lively it's nicely restrained, making it a great aperitif." - Decanter, 89 points.

Devaux Hommage Blanc de Noirs
"A clear, bright and aromatic Champagne based on 100% Pinot Noir. Very pure but intensely aromatic and concentrated on the nose, this is a full-bodied, round, complex and persistent cuvée with good freshness and grip in the pure, powerful and structured finish. The mousse is very fine and coats the whole palate, leaving some grip and salinity." - 91 points, The Wine Advocate.
