Founded by Chef-Owner Rishi Naleendra and Group Beverage Manager Vinodhan Veloo, FOOL is a modern wine bar that promotes unpretentious drinking. In their exuberant and witty style, they partner exceptional wines with playful, wine-friendly plates while offering gracious hospitality.
Head Chef Marcus Tan, formerly of Cheek by Jowl, further refined his skills at Le Bon Funk in Sydney, Australia, and at Ester Restaurant & Bar (2 Hats) in Melbourne, Australia. Aside from that, he was also the chef-owner of Firebrand, the popular fire-centric pop-up restaurant that graced the Singapore dining scene in the latter part of 2020.
A dynamic and edgy wine list from Fool celebrates the best artisanal and quality wine producers from around the world. Curated by Head Sommelier Wolfhart Knipp, the wine list serves as a fun, interactive and refreshing invitation to discover wines and learn about the people and places behind each bottle.
While the food might not be suitable for those with a large appetite or who come here famished, it pairs beautifully with the wine selection. Small plates are served and taste better when shared with companions.
