Since taking over her father's domaine in 1988, Anne Gros, the only daughter of François Gros, has established a solid reputation in the wine world. When Anne was 25, she grew the family estate in Vosne-Romanée from 3 to 6.5 ha.
Anne strives to maintain her independence and prove to those who doubted her abilities as a winegrower. A true inspiration, she possessed both the strength and vision needed to make her family heritage one of the most renowned domaines of Burgundy.
Anne Gros is passionate about practicing a viticulture that respects the human, vine, and terroir. Her vineyard management entails deliberate treatments according to need, using compost in the soil, and plowing the soil. She believes this philosophy of cultivation preserves the terroir's biodiversity.
Anne has an impressive list of wines in her care, including several grand crus. La Fun En Bulles Crémant de Bourgogne Brut is a NV elegant blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté, which is remarkably well suited to all savory dishes due to its finesse and velvety texture. Enjoy a beautiful floral bouquet of warm brioche, zesty lemon and fine chalky notes.
