If you are looking for a cozy spot to have good food and long conversations in Holland Village, waltz your way into That Wine Place. During the pandemic, a group of wine enthusiasts started the wine space amidst adversity like a flower emerging from the pavement.
The wine space is unique- in addition to the retail space where bottles fly off shelves, there is also a dining area and an academic wine classroom on the second floor. Guests are welcomed with warmth and charming hospitality, even if you do not drink wine off their extensive wine list.
Speaking of wines, here is your chance to taste some high end wines by the glass. Using Coravin, these fine wines are kept fresh with every glass poured.
If you are keen on learning more about wines, That Wine Place regularly works with Wine Language to hold WSET Courses Levels 1-3. (We would definitely be fan-girling while taking our WSET level courses with Master of Wine Annette Scarfe.)
The wine space is also creative when it comes to monthly wine tastings and dinners, so don’t be shy about being a regular.
The food is comforting yet fancy enough to impress your guests:
Left - Japanese Hyogo Oysters | Right - Gong Bao Frog & Porridge
Left - Uni & Scallop Pasta | Right - Lamp Rump
Left - Wagyu Beef Carpaccio | Right - Texture of Crustaceans
